The Cooch ball has become a very valuable tool for me!!! I started by sitting on it faithfully for a month and it proved to me what I had suspected (and what Jana says most women with pelvic floor issues suffer from) and that is a too tight pelvic floor. I was a bit disheartened after the 30 or so days though because I noticed more leaking than before. Prior to working with the Cooch ball, I really only had leakage when I laughed too hard or too long, or coughed excessively, or sneezed, etc. I could walk and even do a light jog for a couple minutes without leaking. After sitting on the ball and using the breathing techniques I started leaking slightly when out for my morning walk. Jogging was no longer even on the table (not that I ever did it for very long, but a few minutes here and there on my walk was something I like to do). So I reached out to Jana and she sent me a video response right away explaining that that is exactly what can happen as the pelvic floor starts to finally release. She confirmed my suspicion that it can get worse before it gets better. She reassured me to keep going and begin working on re-building those muscles. I've been focusing on that now for the past month or so and the leaking subsided within about a week or so. The other day I did a 5 minute jog on my walk and there was no leakage at all! I will continue to work my way through all of Jana's amazing videos to get my pelvic floor back to where it should be. Her videos are all very easy to do and challenge you just the right amount. She explains everything very well. I'm also enjoying her "Terrain Fitness" videos and working with my facia in my whole body with the Cooch ball and Scooch ball. I'm so glad I came across Jana's methods and I look forward to continued positive changes in my body.
